Traditional Chinese medicine has reaped the benefits from acupuncture, long before its adoption by the West.

Today, an increasing number of medical practitioners are using needling techniques in their daily practice.

Acupuncture is a natural holistic therapy which aims to stimulate healing of the body and harmonise body, mind and spirit, help relaxation and overall well-being as well as act as a preventative therapy.

Acupuncture can have a positive effect in helping other conditions. British Acupuncture Council produced a set of fact sheets which provides information for variety of conditions and how Acupuncture can be beneficial.  

Cupping is an ancient treatment which involves placing cups on the body. Suction in cups is created by means of heat helping to release toxins, improve blood circulation and relieve tension.

It is a very effective treatment,Cupping1 relieving pain and tension especially when paired with massage.
Moxibustion is a Traditional Chinese Medicine therapy which use ‘Moxa’ a preparation from herb called ‘Mugwort’.

Moxa is burned on the skin or close to the skin and removed as soon as heat sensation is felt by the patient. The therapeutic heat of the Moxa increase blood flow in the area being treated and facilitate healing. It is an effective treatment which is usually paired with Acupuncture to help various conditions such as back pain, digestive disorders, menstrual pain and more.
